IMPACT DAY – Deloitte at Yerwood

On Friday June 10, 2006, Yerwood readily received over 80 corporate volunteers who participated in Deloitte's Impact Day. Diahann Baytops, a Deloitte employee, who also serves on Yerwood’s Board of Directors, and Deloitte employee Scott Boyer, coordinated and managed the project to its completion.  With the collaborative efforts from Deloitte volunteers, Yerwood received a rejuvenating spring cleaning. Classrooms, offices, and Yerwood’s kitchen were refreshed with new coats of paint, closet doors and shelving was installed throughout the building, and the Center’s grounds were energized with the planting of fresh flowers and shrubs.  A vegetable garden was also planted as a special treat for the students.

Thanks Deloitte employees for all your hard work!!!
